The English Premier football League crown is another step closer for Liverpool

The English Premier football League crown is another step closer for Liverpool

The Reds have beaten Newcastle 2-nil at Anfield, at the same time as their nearest rivals Arsenal drew nil-all at third-placed Nottingham Forest.

Liverpool will claim the title if they take 21 of the 30 available points from their remaining fixtures.

Erling Haaland's goal gave Manchester City a 1-nil win at Tottenham, while 10-man Manchester United beat Ipswich Town 3-2.

    Brentford and Everton finished 1-all.
