    Three young people have been arrested after a string of early morning burglaries in North Canterbury's Rangiora


    Three stores were broken into on Ashley Street and High Street, triggering alarms and fog cannons.

    Police say a vehicle just reported stolen was seen driving on Ohoka Road - and didn't stop for Police.

    They say it crashed on Main North Road near in Kaiapoi and its three occupants have been remanded in custody.

    They'll reappear in the Christchurch Youth Court.
