Hopes a homicide investigation in the Wairarapa can reach a swift resolution

Hopes a homicide investigation in the Wairarapa can reach a swift resolution

A man died of apparent gunshot wounds in Carterton, after a car was shot at in a supermarket carpark in Featherston yesterday.

Police are considering charges for two men linked to the incident, who are in their custody.

South Wairarapa District Mayor Martin Connelly, says based on what Police have told him so far, he expects this to be dealt with efficiently.

He says while he expects the justice system can take a bit of time, he also expects no lingering or mysteries around the investigation.
