Christchurch Police are urging people to lock up their bikes in the wake of a rise in theft

Christchurch Police are urging people to lock up their bikes in the wake of a rise in theft

Three people have been arrested on various charges -- with one alleged to have stolen seven bikes in four days in the central city.

Sergeant Andrew Judson says they're dealing with bikes thefts regularly, and using good locks could help prevent the problem.
