    One of the two people killed in a boat capsize off the coast of South Taranaki, is believed to have been a child


    Police say three people were aboard the boat when it got into trouble around 10am yesterday - about 200 metres off Patea.

    Two bodies have since been recovered, with a third person taken to hospital.
