    A well-known hoarders home in Hastings is smouldering, after an inferno overnight


    Authorities were called to the scene on Frederick Street before 2am, and person was found moderately injured.

    Firefighters are keeping a close watch on the property today, to ensure the piles of debris do not reignite.

    Google street view images show the home surrounded by piles of wood, and other hoarded goods.

    A Fire and Emergency spokesperson says there's nothing to indicate the fire was suspicious, but two specialist fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
