Invercargill might be in for an industrial boom

As New Zealand's largest industrial-zoned site, the 513-hectare, 2.5 billion dollar Awarua Quadrant is linking with Otago's purpose-built inland port system, Milburn Quadrant, to form a high-capacity export corridor.

Calder Stewart General Property Manager Ben Murphy says they're working to ensure the site is ready for occupiers who see value in the location.

He says as well the primary industries in the region, there's exciting opportunity in new business and sectors such as aquaculture and renewable energy.
