A long-term project is complete for the man who masterminded the Thunder's title triumph in basketball's NBA

Oklahoma City's 101 to 93 game seven win over Indiana has sealed the championship - 13 years after they came up one short.

General manager Sam Presti has rebuilt the roster several times in that period - finally going all the way with the second youngest squad to lift the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was named Finals MVP - joining Michael Jordan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players to win that honour - as well as the scoring title and regular season MVP - in the same season.
