Brittany Cartwright is "feeling amazing" after undergoing a "mommy makeover" earlier this month

The Valley star is believed to have undergone a tummy tuck and new breast implants and she's told fans she is recovering well from the "huge surgery" and didn't expect to feel as good as she does

She said on her Instagram Story: "I'm still recovering from a huge surgery even though I'm feeling better every day. I had my tubes removed today and it went so much better than I thought. It was, like, hardly any pain, I barely felt anything at all.

"So, I feel so free, and I feel so much better. It's crazy how much better I instantly felt with having the tubes removed. So, still very swollen but, oh my Gosh, I'm feeling amazing."

Brittany's update was filmed herself by a mirror, which showed off her tiny waistline in tight activewear.

On October 6, the 36-year-old reality star - who has son Cruz, four, with estranged husband Jax Taylor - had shared a cryptic post in which she was wrapped in compression bandages with two surgical drains.

She wrote: "When they said 'remove what no longer serves you,' I took it literally.

"In all seriousness, y'all know I always keep it real - and sooo...I did a thing.

"Something I've wanted to do for years and I finally took the step for me. I couldn't be happier.

"Still recovering, but feeling stronger (and lighter) every day. Can't wait to share more with you soon! (sic)

Her spokesperson subsequently confirmed she had undergone a "mommy makeover".

Lori Krebs told Us Weekly: "This was something Brittany had wanted to do for herself for quite some time, and she finally took the step. Her 'mommy makeover' with Dr. Payman Danielpour and Dr. John Layke of Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery Group represents an empowering new chapter in her journey of self-confidence, healing and growth.

"Staying true to her open and honest self, she'll be sharing more about the experience and her recovery on this Friday's episode of When Reality Hits With Brittany Cartwright.(sic)"

And an insider detailed the nature of the procedure to the outlet.

They said: "[Brittany] got a mommy makeover, which included a tummy tuck and new implants. She removed the implants she had and got new ones."

Brittany revealed in March she was considering having her breast implants "done again".

Speaking on her When Reality Hits With Brittany Cartwright podcast, she said: "I get comments and stuff about my breasts all the time and it's so annoying because I had my boobs done, gosh, it's probably about 10 years ago.

"It'll be time to get them redone again soon anyway. But after I had my son and as I said earlier, my weight, like, fluctuates so bad. So my boobs get really big or they'll shrink, they're one of the first places that I gain weight in. And a lot of people will accuse me of having my breasts done again."

"And I'm like, no. This is still the same one. They just got a lot bigger after I had my son. And, I don't love them all the time. It's hard to get dressed. It's hard to find clothes that work for me and everything. But I also always thought I was gonna have more kids."
