Toitu te Tiriti activist Eru Kapa-Kingi has doubled down on claiming Te Pati Maori has dictatorship-style decision making

Te Pati Maori this month emailed supporters documents appearing to include an allegation he'd threatened Parliament staff.

They also revealed his mother, MP Mariameno Kapa-Kingi had been warned against potentially overspending her office budget.

Kapa-Kingi, says the email contained false allegations he believes are a direct retaliation to him speaking out about the Party leadership.

He says claiming he was dismissed for misconduct is embarrassing for Te Pati Maori -- and unprofessional.

He says people should reconsider the Party's leadership.
