Lily Collins has marked her daughter Tove's first Halloween in style by giving her two costumes

The 36-year-old Emily in Paris star shared photos on Instagram showing her nine-month-old daughter dressed first as a garden gnome and later as a flamingo, joking the baby "has range".

Lily, who welcomed Tove in January with her husband Charlie McDowell, said online: "Tove's first Halloween calls for a costume change. Our little garden gnome turned flamingo. Girl has range... ."

The post marked another milestone in what has been a year of "firsts" for the family of three.

Since welcoming her daughter, Lily has shared glimpses of their celebrations for occasions including Easter and Mother's Day, chronicling the early moments of motherhood.

In April, Lily posted photos of Tove's first Easter, describing her as "our little Easter bunny".

The series of images showed the actress wearing a pink knitted jumper embroidered with white rabbits, while Tove's outfit featured bunny slippers, a matching knit jumper with a bunny face stitched on the front, and a hat.

Another photo displayed a pastel table setting laid out for the day - pink napkins, blue glasses and painted eggs - before Tove was pictured in a second outfit: a ruffled pink top with an embroidered bunny and tan corduroy trousers.

Weeks later, Lily celebrated her first Mother's Day on 11 May, sharing a photo of herself cradling Tove in a sling.

She said: "My first Mother's Day.

"No words can describe this new journey, this new life. I love you with all of my heart Tove, with all of the parts of it that have grown deeper since the day you were born and all of those I never even knew existed."

She added: "You have expanded my world, broadened my horizons, and widened my smile more than I knew was possible. And to think, it's only the beginning. I couldn't be more grateful or honoured to be your mum... ."

Earlier this month, Lily revealed one of Tove's favourite gifts - a handmade toy created by her Emily in Paris co-star Ashley Park.

Sharing a picture of the soft toy on her Instagram Stories, Lily wrote: "Tove's favourite snuggly made by Auntie @ashleyparklady always comes with us."

The actress, who stars as Emily Cooper in Netflix's hit romantic comedy series, has been open about the joy of motherhood and her growing family with Charlie, whom she married in 2021.
