    A return to the Black Caps beckons for Canterbury wicket-keeper Mitch Hay


    The 25-year-old has been summoned as injury cover after Tim Seifert broke his finger batting for Northern Districts on Monday.

    Devon Conway will take the gloves against the West Indies for the opening match of the five-game T20 series in Auckland tonight.

    Hay was on provincial duty when the phone rang.



    The last of Hay's 11 T20s was during their tri-series with South Africa and Zimbabwe in July.
