Kim Kardashian has no idea what a jacket potato is

The 45-year-old reality TV star was left visibly confused when asked about the British food staple during a radio interview that left her co-star Sarah Paulson, 50, in stitches.

Their exchange took place on Capital Radio, where the pair were being interviewed by internet personality Margie, better known as Grime Gran, as part of the press tour for their new Hulu legal drama All's Fair.

Grime Gran, an 89-year-old interviewer from East London who became an online sensation for her chats with grime artists, quizzed Kim on her views about a British classic - the baked potato, known in the UK as a "jacket potato".

What followed was a moment of complete cultural misunderstanding.

"And you're a big fan of jacket potato ain't ya?" Grime Gran asked.

Sarah immediately burst out laughing as Kim looked bewildered, replying: "Who?"

Grime Gran repeated her question: "Do you like a jacket potato?"

"What is that?" Kim asked, visibly confused.

Sarah added: "I really want to know if you like a jacket potato."

Kim continued: "I don't know what that is," prompting Sarah to admit: "I don't know what a jacket potato is."

Totally surprised, Grime Gran responded: "You don't know what a jacket potato is?!"

Sarah asked again: "What is a jacket potato?" to which Grime Gran explained: "It's potato cooked in the skin."

Kim replied with relief: "Oh I love that, yeah."

Grime Gran continued the conversation, asking: "What's your filling?"

Sarah turned to Kim, prompting her to elaborate.

Kim said: "Sour cream and butter... and bacon bits."

Grime Gran replied approvingly: "Oh sour cream and butter. Oh lovely. You're making me feel hungry."

The light-hearted exchange quickly spread on social media, with listeners amused by the transatlantic confusion between the American star and the East London interviewer.

The appearance came shortly after Kim shared a series of photos from her younger sister Kendall Jenner's 30th birthday celebration.

Posting on Instagram, she revealed the family had marked the milestone with a tropical getaway.

Sharing a picture of herself posing with Kendall, Kim wrote: "Happy 30th Birthday @kendalljenner may this decade bring you the kind of love and joy you so freely give to everyone else. (White heart emoji.) I love you more than you'll ever understand! Here's to 30 Kenny."

Kendall wore a revealing halter crop top and patterned skirt, while Kim contrasted her in a brown off-the-shoulder dress made of shredded strands.

Their sisters Kylie Jenner and Khloé Kardashian joined their mother Kris Jenner at the celebration, all wearing glamorous outfits.
