Nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards have been announced with Kendrick Lamar and Lady Gaga receiving the most nods.
Three Australian acts — Amyl and the Sniffers, Tame Impala, and Rüfüs Du Sol — have also been nominated, and for the first time ever a K-pop song has been nominated for Song of the Year.
For the second year in a row rapper Kendrick Lamar has the most nominations — nine in total for his album GNX.
Lamar faces competition for Album of the Year against contemporaries Tyler, the Creator, Clipse, Pusha T & Malice, and Bad Bunny.
It is the first time three rap albums have been up for that category.
Lady Gaga has seven nominations in total for her album Mayhem.
