Riley Keough has received signs from Lisa Marie Presley after her death

The 36-year-old star has felt her late mother's presence "everywhere" since her death aged 54 in January 2023, and she thinks her mother is at peace her memoir From Here To The Great Unknown, which Riley finished for her last year.

She told PEOPLE magazine: "I think if you're open to those things, they're kind of everywhere. I really do believe that.

"So, I certainly feel connected to whatever that world may be. I do feel connected to it, yeah.

"There are certainly moments that are very... too weird to not be something."

Although she didn't go into detail on any specific instances, she will open up on the connection to her mother's spirit in a "heartfelt afterward" for the paperback version of her book, which will be released on November 11.

Publisher Penguin Random House promised Riley will reflect "on the journey of bringing From Here to the Great Unknown into the world and her search for a sign that her mother was at peace with its publication".

Riley previously told the outlet how finishing the memoir - which involved listening to tapes of memories she had recorded - felt like a "closed chapter".

She added: "What she wanted to do in her memoir, and what I hope I've done in finishing it for her, is to go beneath the magazine headline idea of her and reveal the core of who she was."

In January, the Daisy Jones and the Six star paid tribute to Lisa Marie on the anniversary of her death.

She shared a screengrab of the pair on a FaceTime call together.

In the photo, Riley could be seen smiling in the top right corner while Lisa Marie had an animated expression in the main image.

She simply captioned her post with a heart emoji.
