    Melbourne Cup-winning jockey Jamie Melham has copped a 30-race meeting suspension after admitting to riding carelessly during a group three race at Flemington last week


    The 29-year-old was involved in a mid-race collision with colleague Blake Shinn and his mount, approximately 200 metres from the finish line.

    Shinn was dislodged and broke his leg as he fell to the ground.

    Melham has since entered a guilty plea to stewards.

    She's out from November 16 to December 17.
