Cardi B's boyfriend has been confirmed as the father of another woman's baby

The WAP hitmaker is expecting her first child with Stefon Diggs, but a paternity test has revealed the New England Patriots wide receiver became a dad earlier this year when Aileen Lopera gave birth to a daughter.

Aileen's lawyer, Tamar G. Arminak, told People magazine: "We can confirm that Mr. Diggs is the father.

"And, we are hopeful he that he will meaningfully contribute to the child's life and coparent with our client who has had to do everything on her own thus far."

The model, who is known on Instagram as Lord Gisselle, filed documents against the 31-year-old sportsman to establish paternity while she was still pregnant in December 2024.

The documents stated: "Petitioner is currently pregnant with [Diggs'] unborn child."

At the time, Ailee was seeking legal and physical custody of the baby but would give Stefon visitation rights.

In his response, the NFL star contested the child was his and asked for genetic testing, but if it was determined he was the father, he would like joint legal and physical custody and a joint payment of "reasonable expenses" of pregnancy, birth and attorney fees and costs.

According to The US Sun, documents revealed the baby was named Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.

Aileen's lawyer said at the time: "My client looks forward to the day Mr. Diggs acknowledges and provides for his infant daughter in Los Angeles."

Cardi - who has three children with ex-husband Offset - seemingly referenced the paternity row in an Instagram Live video in September.

The 33-year-old rapper referenced Shirley Brown's 1974 song Woman to Woman, which is about one woman calling her husband's mistress.

She said: "Hello, Barbara, this is Shirley. That's your baby daddy, b****? That's my baby daddy, too.

    "Well, what now? I don't f****** know. We'll figure it out, b****."

Cardi recently insisted Stefon makes her feel "safe and very confident and very strong".

She explained on CBS Mornings: "I mean, like, two weeks ago, I was literally having a panic attack. I was, like, crying and crying and crying, just because I was just getting really nervous with you know, the whole album rollout.

"People were coming at me very hard. You know, sometimes people love you, people hate you. And people was just saying very mean things about me."

But with the NFL star, Cardi said: "He makes me feel very confident ... And it makes you feel like you could take over the world."

Cardi now joked she hopes her fans will buy her new album so she can support her expanding family.

She teased: "Now y'all could buy my album so I can buy Pampers and diapers and all that type of stuff.

"I told you. Now go support my album, cause I'm a mother of four now."
