Jenna Jameson is helping people "find Jesus"

The 51-year-old former adult film star has been baptised and after "switching sides" she wants others to follow her example and seek contentment in faith.

She shared an Instagram reel and wrote over the top of it: "After decades of being known for my body and sin, getting baptized and helping others find Jesus too.(sic)"

The short clip saw Jenna looking at the camera before mouthing the words "switching sides".

She captioned the post: "Crack the Bible... you won't regret it.(sic)"

In 2015, the Private Parts actress converted to Judaism and four years later, announced she was leaving X, which was known as Twitter at the time, due to anti-Semitism.

She wrote at the time: "I want to clarify why I'm leaving.

"My sobriety and faith are the most important things to me. I am being attacked for my faith. Being Jewish. I must protect my love for God above everything, my sobriety and strength stem from him and his grace."

But earlier this year, Jenna announced she had "found her faith again" and seemingly converted back to Christianity.

She shared side-by-side pictures of herself now and at 18 and wrote on Instagram in September: "18 vs 51 I've definitely been through a lot, but I'm thankful. I've found my faith again and I'm so at peace. My belief in the most high has led me to strength I never knew I had."

In February, Jenna and her wife Jessi Lawless split after 11 months of marriage.

Jessi told People magazine: "She tried to rekindle the relationship multiple times but I was unwilling to entertain her advances.

"She moved around several times staying with a friend in Chicago and then with another friend in California and then she was in Las Vegas for a little while, but she was hard to keep up with so getting her served was challenging."

Jenna - who has three children from her relationships with Tito Ortiz and Lior Bitton - "hard launched" a new relationship a month later.

She shared a selfie with author Mil R. Ocampo and wrote: "Hard launch..."
