The National Public Health Service says this latest case is connected to Wellington College and went on to travel internationally to Asia, where they remain.

National Clinical Director Susan Jack, says the person was a contact of a previous case and had followed public health advice by quarantining for two weeks.

She says there are several locations of interest connected to this case, including Auckland domestic terminal and Wellington Airport.

It brings the known measles cases nationally to 19, with 18 of those no longer infectious.
