New Seniors PGA Tour champion Stewart Cink is amazed at the small margins in golf

The American leapt from 3rd to 1st on the season-long standings by winning the final tournament of the year in Phoenix...just pipping Kiwi Steve Alker, who was second in the tournament AND on the overall year-long standings.

Cink can't believe he overtook Alker given he missed the fairway on his first EIGHT holes today.

Alker earned a sneaky half a million dollars for his second place at the tournament.
