    Striker Troy Parrott has secured Ireland a spot in the next phase of European World Cup football qualification play-offs with a 96th-minute winner against Hungary in Budapest.

    He says the escape comes three days after they kept their hopes alive via a 2-nil win over Portugal in Dublin.



    Already-qualified England beat Albania 2-nil away to finish their campaign with eight straight wins, and no goals conceded.
