Post-mortems are being carried out, following the house fire in Sanson on Saturday

Three children and their father died in their Manawatu home.

It's reportedly a suspected triple-murder-suicide, but Police won't yet say whether that's the case.

They have, though, confirmed the father died at the scene - but wasn't burned in the fire.

Herald reporter Melissa Nightingale says neighbours just want answers.

She says those living in the area are completely shattered and gutted by the news.
