Christchurch Police say they've exhausted all leads in their investigation into a gang-related shooting in Wainoni more than two weeks ago

A woman was critically injured after being hit by a single gunshot at a Shortland Street home on November 10.

Our newsroom understands it was a drive by shooting, and the woman may not have been the intended target.

Police initially reported they were following strong lines of inquiry, but now say no further leads are available.

They'll reopen the investigation if new information emerges.
