    Calls for information after a Hamilton man was seriously injured, in what police believe was a targeted shooting


    Emergency services were called to Sapphire Place in Chartwell just before midnight.

    A 37-year-old man with gunshot wounds was taken to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.

    He is now stable.

    Police are looking for two vehicles - one red and one white - and are asking anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward
