An admission there's more work to do on competition in the energy sector

Commerce Commission officials have faced MPs' questions at Scrutiny Week in Parliament - some of which focused on power prices.

Chair John Small says tackling and finding ways through climate risks is also key for affordability.

He says it's clear there's a market failure here that can't be solved by the industry alone.
