A 21-year-old man is due in court today charged with murder and other offences in relation to the death of an Auckland man in Mount Wellington on Friday

A 21-year-old man is due in court today charged with murder and other offences in relation to the death of an Auckland man in Mount Wellington on Friday

Police say the victim arrived at a medical centre on Lunn Ave just after midday, with critical injuries after being attacked with a sharp object on Harris Road.

    He later died in hospital.

Detective Inspector Scott Beard says while one person has been arrested, the team is committed to holding all involved to account.

He says the violence, especially at that time of day is concerning, and they still want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or may have dashcam footage from the area at the time.
