    Max Verstappen won the battle but Lando Norris has won the war for the Formula 1 crown


    The Brit has clinched the overall crown by virtue of his third-placing in the season-ending Abu Dhabi grand prix, won by Red Bull's Verstappen.

    The Dutchman finished two points shy in the overall standings of Norris.

    The McLaren driver says he knew he was okay in third but was trying not to overthink the title scenarios.
