    Japan's Hideki Matsuyama has won the PGA Tour's Hero World Challenge event in a playoff


    Matsuyama and Swede Alex Noren were tied at 22-under the card after 72-holes of the 20-player tournament.

    But Matsuyama birdied the first sudden death playoff hole to take the win.
