A former Grand Slam tennis champion and previous winner of the ASB Classic will return to the women's field in 2026

American Sloane Stephens is one of the four wildcards for the tournament...alongside seven-time Grand Slam champ Venus Williams, British star Katie Boulter and a yet-to-be determined Kiwi.

Tournament director Nicolas Lamperin is hopeful the Classic will provide a springboard for Stephens' career reboot.
