    The family of a Mount Eden Prison inmate who died after an alleged attack - is demanding answers


    Open Justice can reveal he was 69-year-old Johnathan Peter Trubuhovich .

    He died yesterday - allegedly assaulted by a prisoner less than two weeks ago.

    A family spokesperson tells our newsroom the loss is still very raw and they want to know how it could happen.

    They'd hoped he'd get a non-custodial sentence at his December 15 hearing - to be released before Christmas.
