    Breakers coach Petteri Koponen believes the referees granted the South East Melbourne Phoenix to play with an uber-physical style in their clash in basketball's NBL


    The New Zealand club's three-game winning streak came to an end via a 92-80 defeat across the ditch.

    While a season-high 36 points to veteran guard played a big part in the Breakers downfall - Koponen believes the home team's overall approach was also a major factor.



    The result sees the Breakers fall one place on the ladder to seventh.
