    Two people are injured in Southland's Gore, with reports of a firearm being discharged


    Police responded to the reports before 8pm.

    They say the injuries aren't believed to be life-threatening.

    A cordon's in place near Aparima Street, with officers making enquiries.

    Police don't believe there's any risk to other members of the community.
