Caretaker manager Darren Fletcher isn't writing off Manchester United's season just yet

Caretaker manager Darren Fletcher isn't writing off Manchester United's season just yet

The Red Devils have been eliminated from the FA Cup - booed off Old Trafford after an insipid 2-1 loss to Brighton.

Happy to now relinquish his interim role, Fletcher says his parting gift was to urge the club's fragile players to harden up.

United are out of both domestic Cup competitions, with their Premier League campaign the sole focus for the rest of the season.
