Sterling K. Brown insists his wife didn't mind him baring his bottom in Paradise

The 49-year-old actor showed off his bare backside in the hit Hulu post-apocalyptic thriller, and he has revealed how his partner Ryan Michelle Bathe reacted to his daring display on the small screen.

During a joint interview on Live from E!: Golden Globes 2026, he quipped: "You say, 'It ain't no fun if the homies can't have none.'

"We want to share with the world. Just on TV, though."

Sterling was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series - Drama at the Golden Globes on Sunday (12.01.26), and he joked he filmed the steamy scene in honour of the awards.

He joked: "I figure it's the Golden Globes. So, I wanted to have two Golden Globes on Hulu from the back. Rear globes-that's what we call them."

Ryan will be joining her husband in season two of Paradise, but she has confirmed she kept herself covered up on set.

She said: "My cheeks were thoroughly closed the entire time I was on Paradise season two. I just wanna say."

Sterling missed out in his category on the night, with Noah Wyle getting the nod for his role in The Pitt.

Also on the shortlist were Andor's Diego Luna, Slow Horses legend Gary Oldman, Task star Mark Ruffalo, and Severance lead Adam Scott.

Meanwhile, Sterling - who has sons Andrew, 14, and 10-year-old Amare with Ryan - recently said marriage requires "constant rededication", having tied the knot with his wife in 2006.

Discussing their pact to be truthful on their podcast We Don't Always Agree, Sterling told Red magazine: "Anytime she gets to disagree with me in public, she gets very excited.

"I think that transparency has had real resonance because marriage is its own challenge, right?

"And I think often when people see Ryan and they've seen us on the red carpet, or they've seen us in interviews, it seems as if we have it all figured out, that it's all shiny and polished.

"It's not, it takes work and it takes constant rededication to one another in order to make it work.

"And I think that's the thing we wanted to put out into the world that we thought was of greatest value."
