Chelsea Handler met her new man in a casino

The 50-year-old comic confirmed she has "got somebody going on right now" after they hit it off at the blackjack table in as Vegas and she went on to spontaneously invite him on her planned trip to Antarctica.

Speaking to Andy Cohen on his SiriusXM show Radio Andy, she said: "I have a residency in Vegas, right? I play at the Cosmo. After my show, I take everyone gambling and I provide the money for everybody. Because if I'm going to force you to gamble, you can gamble with my money."

Chelsea's friends gambled away $3,000 on one particular night, so she returned to the casino the following evening to try and recoup her money.

She recalled: "I sit down next to a guy. He's got a big cowboy hat on and he's got thousands of dollars of chips. I was like, 'Hey, I need to borrow a couple thousand dollars, sir.'"

The mystery man agreed and Chelsea ended up winning big, allowing her to pay back her new friend and regain what she had lost the night before.

She continued: "I get all these texts from this guy the next day, and he's like, 'That was such a vibe. You're so fun. I want to hang out again.'

"He goes, 'You seem like a great adventure and I'm in the mood for some adventure in my life.'"

As a result, the former talk show host sent him a link to Wonder Summit, a nine-day expedition to Antarctica that she was preparing for.

She continued: "He wrote back, 'I'll see you in Antarctica.' And he came to Antarctica."

The trip took place in November and Chelsea admitted last month she had skipped a podcast appearance in Los Angeles because she was "having sex with someone in New York City."

She told Ladygang hosts Keltie Knight, Becca Tobin and Jac Vanek: "I literally could not get out of the bed.

"And you know what I thought at 2:30 in the morning, girls? When I was just naked in bed with some man, I said, 'You know what? I deserve this.'

"I am a woman, and I've earned the right to do this."
