Lily Allen is "happy to be alive" after a lorry ran her new Porsche "off the road"

On Monday (19.01.26), the 40-year-old singer shared a photo of the motor - a 11 Carrera S that costs around £120,000 - with its black paintwork scratched off the sides and around the back wheel, as part of an Instagram carousel showing how 2026 has treated her so far.

Lily captioned the post with: "Could have done without an HGV running me off the road but other than that a relatively good start to 2026."

The Smile hitmaker also teased other celebrities who have jumped on the viral social media trend of sharing photos from 2016.

Lily added: "Happy to be alive and to not be posting any photos taken in 2016."

Fans of the star reacted to her car being run "off the road" by a lorry in the upload's comments section.

One person penned: "Happy you are ok! So scary."

A second user wrote: "I love you to death, but that Porsche photo hurt my soul, lol (sic)."

And a third supporter typed: "Poor Porsche. As long as you're ok that's what matters!"

Other than the road collision, Lily appears to have had a nice 2026.

In another photo in the image carousel, the Brit Award-winning artist shared a shot of her basking in the sunshine in a strapless black bikini.

And she also showed off her tan and red Birkin handbags, which cost £25,000 and £20,000, respectively.

In December 2025, Lily said she is in therapy for a spending addiction after 'shopping like an insane person' following the success of West End Girl - which was released in October that year and addressed the end of her marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour.

Speaking to her best friend, Miquita Oliver, on a Christmas special of their Miss Me? podcast, Lily said: "I'm just playing with my huge diamond and emerald ring, I bought myself a little present but it's not that little.

"You've go to treat yourself and mark the moment. I'm convinced I'm a billionaire. Handbags have been bought, jewels and a car have been bought."

Lily revealed that she has been in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) as a result of her excessive spending.

She explained: "I start doing EMDR therapy four months ago and it's been life changing. EMDR therapy is a special type of therapy that stimulates the brain and creates new pathways to certain behaviours or traumatic experiences.

"This is what is working for me currently, I'm not a doctor though."

She continued: "You usually start by deciding an area, like a traumatic experience you want to focus on and visualise the experience and identify the feeling that are coming up in your body and mind and the pain levels go down.

"If you're trying to stop a negative behaviour like spending or drug taking, you do the opposite and think of the good feeling and try and dissociate that feeling from your self-worth.

"In my case a handbag, you separate it by saying this handbag is making me a better person. It is really interesting and I'm not clear on the science but it is working for me."
