The Spice Girls love Lewis K. Gibson and Lilah Fear's Girl Power inspired routine

The two Team GB figure skaters are gunning for gold in the Winter Olympics after impressing on the ice in the European champions with a performance set to a medley including the group's iconic hit Spice Up Your Life.

Days before he games get under way on Friday (06.02.26), Lewis shared a clip of a recent performance on Instagram.

He joked: "My husband has said if I can get a Spice Girl to comment on this before the Olympics, he will be on cooking duty for an entire month when I'm home."

Mel B couldn't resist, and even called on the duo to deliver some more routines inspired by the Wannabe hitmakers, including Geri Halliwell-Horner, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Victoria Beckham.

She commented: "Can't wait to see what he is cooking !!!! I will be watching [the Olympics] hope there are some more spicey routines."

And the official Spice Girls account added: "Let's hope he cooks something Spicey. Good luck @winter_olympics we will be supporting you from home."

It's not the first time Lewis and Lilah - who are nickname the Disco Brits - have brought the world of pop to the rink.

Back in November, the British skaters shared a routine set to Taylor Swift track The Fate of Ophelia.

The Olympics' official Instagram account shared a clip, with the caption: "Lilah and Lewis make it look so simple... By the way, how has Taylor not seen this yet?"

In their free programme, the duo also pay tribute to Lewis' Scottish roots, with a mash-up of The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond, Auld Lang Syne, and The Proclaimers classic I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles).

Asked about their musical tastes, Lilah told BBC Sport: "They're the hits! We started the season with a slower middle, but we changed it to an upbeat piece - they are crowd favourites."
