The Black Caps are tapping into all the intel they have ahead of their second match at cricket's T20 World Cup later tonight

New Zealand have stayed in Chennai to face the UAE - one of the tournament's lesser-known quantities for the main nations.

Batting coach Luke Ronchi says they've had Lockie Ferguson, Jimmy Neesham and an analyst all take part in the UAE-based ILT20, while the Black Caps also played a series against the Middle Eastern nation in 2023.

First ball tonight is set for 10.30.
