Blues coach Vern Cotter is applauding Super Rugby for their honesty, but is frustrated at what might have been after the Chiefs were wrongly awarded a try in round one

Blues coach Vern Cotter is applauding Super Rugby for their honesty, but is frustrated at what might have been after the Chiefs were wrongly awarded a try in round one

Super Rugby conceded Tupou Vaa'i's first half try at Eden Park shouldn't have been given - because he left the ground to avoid a tackle close to the line, rather than diving to score.

The Chiefs won by four points.

Cotter says the honesty of Super Rugby is welcomed but it doesn't change the ladder.

The Blues face the Perth in Perth on Saturday.
