    Paris Olympics silver medallist Nicole Shields has announced her retirement from cycling


    Shields was part of the New Zealand squad that finished second to the United States in the women's team pursuit on the track at the 2024 Games.

    Shields also had time on road teams, racing in the USA and South America for three years.
