A greater sense of belonging for rising Kiwi cyclist Laurence Pithie as he prepares for his maiden grand tour event

A greater sense of belonging for rising Kiwi cyclist Laurence Pithie as he prepares for his maiden grand tour event

The 21 year old will be on the start line for the Giro d'Italia starting tomorrow night in Turin - where he's targeting a stage win.

Pithie finished in the top 10 in this year's Paris-Roubaix - and made the podium on a stage in the Paris to Nice tour.

He says he's no longer over-awed by the company he finds himself racing against.
