Black Caps batter Daryl Mitchell has top scored for the Chennai Super Kings in a 35-run IPL loss to the Gujarat Titans

Black Caps batter Daryl Mitchell has top scored for the Chennai Super Kings in a 35-run IPL loss to the Gujarat Titans

    Chasing 232, Mitchell struck a quick-fire 63 in Chennai's 196 for eight.

He'd earlier been carted for 52 runs off his four overs...while Mitch Santner went at more than 15 runs an over off two overs opening the bowling.

Santner then recorded a two-ball duck.

The Super Kings remain in 4th on the table, thanks to their superior net run rate.
