Shania Twain thinks Harry Styles handles his fame "so beautifully"

The 'Man! I Feel Like A Woman' hitmaker is still good friends with the 'As It Was' singer, who became a global household name after rising to fame as a member of One Direction on the UK's version of 'The X Factor', and she is glad to see him still doing so well

She told E! News: "I do check in with him. It's always really lovely - we stay in touch by text.

"He's young, but he's been doing it since he was a teenager, a kid basically. I really care and follow how he's doing.

"I know how hard this career is and can be on younger people, but he seems to be managing it so beautifully and I just love staying in touch and hearing that he's doing great."

The two friends joined forces at Coachella in 2022, and before bringing her on stage he admitted that thanks to his mother playing her songs in the car, Shania "taught" him how to sing.

The 'That Don't Impress Me Much' singer first met him backstage at one of his shows, and then swapped numbers because he asked if she would call his mother on her birthday, which was coming up at the time.

She previously told Today.com: "We stayed in touch ever since and then he invited me to the Coachella performance. We're just very easy together, it's like we've known each other for a very long time."

She added: "He was just really on his way up when I first met him."

After their Coachella performance, she heaped praise on his personality - and his scent.

Appearing on the 'Table Manners with Jessie Lennie Ware' podcast, she said: "He smells so good, he's so huggable. Yes, he is.

"He's just a really genuine, nice person. And I think that's really, I mean, obviously, he's very talented. But people love him.

"He's likeable. And I think he earned that likability...It was a beautiful moment. It really was. I enjoyed it a lot. It was very genuine."
