A broad low pressure system remains slow-moving to the west of Aotearoa New Zealand through to Tuesday, and directs several troughs across the country. Forecast issued at 2342hrs Friday 14-Jun-2024 Valid to 1 am Saturday for The Bay of Islands and inshore waters from Cape Brett to the Poor Knights Islands to Bream Head. Strong wind advisory. Saturday: Southwest 25 knots gusting 35 knots, easing to westerly 20 knots early this morning, then changing northwest 15 knots mid-morning. Rough sea easing this morning. Partly cloudy. Fair visibility in the odd shower from afternoon. Northeast swell 1.5 metres, easing to 1 metre.
