Banner advertising with crime.co.nz
New Zealand's most comprehensive crime, policing and security information site Crime.co.nz brings a unique concept to New Zealand and provides the visitor with a wide array of information from infamous accounts of murder within New Zealand to the return of Bravo One (the syndicated comic strip of a local cop on the beat). In the midst of increasing public awareness of crime and its prevention, crime.co's comprehensive web site, (http://www.crime.co.nz) is a first for New Zealand, and possibly worldwide. Launched in April 1998, its stated goal is to play a part in making New Zealand safer through knowledge and awareness of crime, offering New Zealanders information on past crimes and criminal methods to assist them in making informed decisions on matters of security and personal safety. Not affiliated with the NZ Police, the site offers a large amount of information about crime in New Zealand, both topical and historical, and is categorised into files, features and resources. The files contain details of criminal cases from the latest unsolved mysteries, such as the Marlborough disappearance of Ben Smart and Olivia Hope, to an analysis by James McNeish of the David Bain controversy, to historical details about the Kirsa Jensen case.
