    Stuart Cable’s rock reincarnation belief

Stuart Cable reportedly told friends he was the “reincarnation” of tragic AC/DC rocker Bon Scott – who died after choking on his own vomit – just weeks before suffering the same fate.

Stuart Cable claimed he was the “reincarnation” of late AC/DC rocker Bon Scott just weeks before his death.

The 40-year-old former Stereophonics drummer – whose body was discovered at his home in Wales on Monday morning (07.06.10) – is believed to have choked on his own vomit following a drinking binge, in an echo of the death of his singer hero who also passed away after a bout of heavy drinking aged just 33.

Cable recently marked his 40th birthday with a surprise party featuring AC/DC tribute band Bons Balls, where the musician spoke of his admiration for the tragic singer.

According to The Sun newspaper, Bons Balls drummer Kev Smith said: "It was a brilliant gig. Stuart was fantastic fun. He got up and drummed with us, which was amazing.

"He idolised Bon Scott, who was his absolute hero. Stuart said he was Scott's reincarnation - that they could have been twins.

"For him to have choked to death, just as Scott did - well, it sends a shiver down my spine. It's spooky."

Stuart – who had a nine-year-old son Cian with ex-wife Nicola – was found dead in bed at home by his 30-year-old girlfriend Rachel Jones following an evening out at a local pub, the Welsh Harp Inn.

Rachel was interviewed by police, who are investigating his death but not treating it as suspicious.

Toxicology reports on the star’s body will reportedly take at least six weeks to find results.

Stereophonics – who sacked Stuart in 2003 over his heavy drinking and drug use – has replaced their website with a smiling picture of the drummer and the words "in loving memory".
