Ashburton Police investigating dairy robbery

A male offender entered the dairy at around 8:20 armed with a long barrelled gun which he used to threaten a staff member before making off with cash.

The man was wearing a mask over his face and a orange hi-vis top, over blue clothing.

Photos have been posted on the Canterbury Police Facebook page.

Senior Sergeant Philip Dean is asking anyone who thinks they can help the investigation to get in touch.
