Police trying to determine if commercial burglaries across Waikato are linked

Police are trying to determine whether a number of commercial burglaries across Waikato overnight are linked - in Thames, and Hamilton, and the surrounding Chartwell and Tamahere

A stolen Subaru was allegedly used in a ram raid at Chartwell's Westfield Mall shortly after 1.20am, then a Nissan Tiida smashed into a petrol station on Naylor Street, just before 4am.

Two Cambridge Road cafes were also broken into.

Meanwhile, a Thames cafe was burgled and a car stolen -- then used to ram a Cochrane Street store, and soon after allegedly involved in burglary on Pollen Street, and a golf club used to smash a window.
