    The Waikato-Bay of Plenty Magic are on track for an almighty ANZ netball Premiership upset


    The fifth-placed Magic lead the table-topping Mystics 34-28 in the third quarter of their match in Rotorua.

    Later, a milestone for Tactix defender Jane Watson, as she brings up her 100th game for the franchise against the Steel.

    She's had two separate stints with the Tactix, with a three-year tenure with the Steel sandwiched in the middle.

    Her second stint with the Tactix has seen her carry the captain's armband from 2018 until 2021, before skipping last season as she fell pregnant with her first child.

    Coach Marianne Delaney-Hoshek admires Watson's ability to balance netball with motherhood.
