Residents in Dunedin, West Otago and Southland reported heavy snowfall yesterday, up to 40 centimetres in some areas.

A flurry of snowfall warnings are in place this morning for the Milford, and Crown Range Roads -- and Lewis, Arthurs, and Lindis Passes.
